Do you have a secret tip to get rid of slug snot?

I have to take off the little and bigger slugs from the evolving green and every time, I struggle to get the snot off from my hand.
Do you have a secret weapon that dissolves it instantly?

I don't know you touch them  :#, if I can't knock them into an empty plant pot or something then I use a pair of pointed pliers, they're deadly  >:)

The best thing to do is to wipe it off with a tissue before washing.  The slime is hydrophilic which means it absorbs water which makes it swell up and makes it worse to get rid of. I learned this from a woman who loved slugs and snails and would happily pick them up and examine them, very strange!?!

I just wipe it on my clothes. Hands get washed later on. It's usually no problem by then.

Re -slugs eating dead foliage - most people find slugs are more of a problem by eating new growth rather than helping eat dead stuff! The woodlice usually do that here  :)

I used to use use chopsticks to remove slugs and snails . Slugs I now snip in situ. Snails I pick up by the shell and stamp on.

Maybe I'm just used to all sorts, so it doesn't bother me touching them.
Now that the wasps are starting to appear, I like leaving the squished snails for them to eat. It's fascinating watching them. Don't know if they eat the squished slugs though.
