Weird allium?

Last autumn I planted about 15 purple sensation. Many are growing but no open flowers yet...except this one...

Its got a really small yellow head on it - hard to get scale but its less than an inch across 1.5cm maybe? Its possible I had a different bulb in the mix but has anyone seen this allium? I assume its not purple sensation somehow affected bh the cold?! Might the flower get bigger?

    Oh it could be, thank you! It has been in that blob form for a week or so, but I will keep an eye on it to see if it opens out!  Its not the most spectacular!
