Hello, this has self seeded. Could you please identify?

    @coccinella Yes that is right pink/ deep pink or white flowers.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    I feel pretty sure it is Lychnis as mine self seeds everywhere looking exactly like yours. I think mine is Lychnis Coronaria with rather nice  pink flowers.  Others can probably give you more information.  :)

    Yes, Lychnis Coronaria. I have a white one that has seeded itself.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Lychnis coronaria don’t self seed readily in my garden but they’re always welcome when they do. A nice freebie to get.
