    That’s awful ,hadn’t heard about that . Has someone reported it so it can be investigated?

    Much will depend on what plants you are growing on and whether in pots or ground but top soil/compost/grit in various ratios would be a start perhaps.  
    Buying in soil and MPC is very much a lucky dip these days but if you look at the various threads on Compost, you may get some pointers.  Good luck with your plants anyway :)

    I really rec Melcourt Sylvagrow compost, it's more expensive than big company products but v good quality and versatility

    but not available everywhere.

    Many of us are using various different mixes as @philippasmith2 says, so it's worth doing a search - the option is at the top of the page, although it can be hit and miss.
    It does depends on what you're sowing/growing though. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
