How to protect newly sewed Grass Seed from heavy rain?
Hey everyone, new here so hope you don't mind the question!
I've recently overseeded the garden and covered the grass seed with topsoil and rollered it in, but tonight it's forecasted very heavy rain for hours and I'm worried about all my hard work being undone. Is there anything I can purchase today that can cover the seeds from the rain or should I just leave it?
Thank you!

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
The seed will love rain. It might be disturbed a bit. But probably not, as you have covered it.

I scarified, aerated, overseeded and covered it with topsoil in the week and we had crazy rain and some of the soil eroded. I basically put more seed down in the bare patches after the rain and topsoiled everywhere and rollered in. So worried the rain will wash it away, it's on a slight banking.
Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
Or should I just leave it another week and see where I'm at?
