@thegreenman changing network to be able to improve your garden is some serious commitment to the cause! 😂

I need to stop going into GCs though, they all stock the same imported plants, none of which seem interesting enough to me.
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

I know @Latimer I got a cheaper deal too so it worked out well. Haha.

I’m lucky in that I have 3 GCs all equidistant from me which stock stuff that the rest never do.

One of them has a HUGE nursery attached to it and they must have 80% of their stock coming from there.

@Latimer Perhaps you could take a loook to see if you have a local Nursery. There is one near to me no coffee and cake just plants.

The worst thing is when you don't buy the plant, change your mind at home, and then when you go back they're all gone  :'(

@TheGreenMan that's lucky! Both the ones near me are pretty standard, the closest one has just been bought out by Blue Diamond, so I suspect things may not improve.

@GardenerSuze there is a really good nursery in Farnham about 45 minutes away, loads of plants, I just need the time to get over to it.

@Loxley fortunately for me, by the time I get home I have a whole new set of ideas to disappoint myself with!

I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

@Latimer I have a Blue Diamond near to me. They are expensive but I have bought some unusual plants from there. Stock is generally of a good standard, although last summer they had to fight to keep things watered.  If you do buy from them it is about being selective, can you buy the same elsewhere cheaper. I did buy a large pot of Galanthus Polar Bear an amazing late snowdrop from them earlier in the year new to me. The only other place I would have found these would be on line.
They have some very expensive stuff including those expensive metal fairies sold out in a week!

@Loxley Yes that is what I was thinking of when I mentioned a local nursery. Not good on wet day lots of puddles. A good place to visit for something different as I am sure you know.
