I agree @Dovefromabove. I often walk up the steps beside a church hall near here. It's a little piece of woodland, and when they appear everywhere in there in early April, they're just delightful. A whole carpet of them. They were particularly good recently because we had some lovely sunshine, and the trees don't get into growth that early here so they were really benefiting from that
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
@GardenerSuze. It wasn't me. I didn't even get the reference. Will Google it😊 PS the only pheasants around here are in Sainsbury. Must have been pigeons. We have plenty of those. They're eating next doors cherry and plum blossoms at the moment.
@B3 Sorry I should have left this message for @alfharris8 It is a very old song that gets on your nerves, Good you are young enough not to know it very annoying. Just hope you haven't had time to google it.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
I like Celandines, but they are a bit of a nusance in the garden at times. We have some of the different forms, including a white flowered bronze leafed one.
