NPK and other ways of feeding plants

    Part of the basis of the Jadam liquid fertilisers (where you soak plants in rain water with a handful of leaf mould and ferment over time) is you don't feed to often as it can impact natural soil health. If this indeed a concern with a natural organic substance then I don't see why adding copious amounts of man made products wouldn't cause more damage. You may not get as much growth or flowers but after last year's summer I'm happy with less growth.
