Yes I've got a few which are just coming through, and a couple which are probably dead as they were too hot last summer, but I'll give them another couple of weeks.. don't give up on it yet.
Gave up on my Lady Boothby and replaced it this week but the other (six??) varieties I've got have all survived. Some as normal but most have died off to the ground and just started sending up new stems from the very bottom.
They’re late this year, wait a bit longer. @Robert West I thought that with my Lady Boothby but just today I saw a shoot from the ground. They need to be cut back to the ground, kick starts them into shooting.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
My magellenica which is over 30 years old and 8 ft tall is dead but is resprouting with very tender shoots from the base - think they will need supporting. Another two are resprouting from the base as well but a couple of others are completely dead. One in a pot has survived but one next to it is completely dead1 Very random!!
