My mature olive tree

My mature olive tree, 4 years in the ground, shed its leaves in Jan. I think some branches are still alive. Shall I prune it, feed it, cross my fingers?

I would do nothing except take off any branches that you are sure are dead if any . As Monty said on GWorld tonight ,just because some parts look like they’ve had it doesn’t mean the whole thing is a gonner .
Exersise patience and it may come good as the weather warms up a bit .

For people we have a mantra:  "feed a cold. starve a fever."

Feeding may sustain a fit plant, but it does nothing for a sick one.
location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.
"Have nothing in your garden that you don't know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful."
  • Thank you. Olives are tough so I will just wait and hope!
