A Fungus to ID please

@Dovefromabove should recognise this. I think it's like the one we found when you were here a some years ago Dove. Other opinions also welcome. Around 7/8 inches tall, past its best, very dry to touch. Hollow stem, there's another one beside it with the top missing.

    I've had a suggestion of Thimble Morel, Verpa conica from someone who usually knows what he's talking about. What do you think @Dovefromabove?

    If he usually knows what he’s talking about @nutcutlet then he’s probably right … I can ID a few, but I’m no expert.

    The cap is a bit far gone to be helpful but another option might be Black Morel, Morchella elata. It has a white, hollow stem and fruits at this time of year.

    Thank you Steephill, the stem is almost tan coloured now but might have been white earlier
