    What's the moon done to deserve being stuck with those two?

    Have you taken your medication today @philippasmith2 ?   :D

    It could be worse- it could be those slimeballs Musk or Branson waving at you. That would give me nightmares.
    On the other hand - if they went there and something happened, and they couldn't get back....
     :D  You should have reminded me earlier @Fairygirl tho I'm not sure they do meds to stop me being daft  ;)
    So much hybridisation going on these days.........just imagine ........Branson and Musk arriving on the moon at the same time..........moon decides to have a laugh............doesn't bear thinking of !!  Actually thinking back last year the Moskado toms did well - I wonder how long before they are re named as Muskado.
    I think I'll just stick with my own tomato plants - looking a bit livelier today actually.  I keep forgetting it's still April  ;)
    Hope the OP is reassured by the more sensible advice and that the toms produce well :)

    @philippasmith2 ;)
    The seed I've sown in my own mix [old compost and grit] is at least producing some germination - albeit slowly, as the house isn't particularly warm unless there's plenty of sun. I should just have done that a month ago instead of buying some new compost to use. Even the extra Piccolo ones which were only done a week or so ago have started. Hey ho.
    Still April as you say though.
    We'll get our bruschetta yet...maybe by Halloween....

    OP should be ok - plants look like they're a good enough size just now.  :)

  • Oh, they're alright.  There are far worse people in the world.
    When there's always biscuits in the tin, where's the fun in biscuits ?

    @worriedvillager best have a chat with @war garden 572 if you're into Digging for Victory  ;)
  • poly tunnel does not provide much protection from cold.
    soil heating cables or walls o water are best option.

     As for dig for victory start a new thread and ask question there.
