Help identifying pear tree disease

    Mine is a ‘Concorde’ … a Comice x Conference … large juicy pears and easy to grow. 

    On a Quince A rootstock I grow it as an espalier at the end of our veg patch where it acts as a ‘fence’ between the veg and the terrace where we sit out. I’m not at home at the moment or I’d show you a pic …

    I'd agree that Concorde is a better pear than Conference, but I'm not sure that Concorde will pollinate the Comice.
    It doesn't appear to be a pollination partner for Comice.

    Luckily the garden that my garden backs onto has a large conference pear, so I have no pollination problems.

    Concorde and Comice are both Group 4 so my understanding is that they should pollinate each other … but I’m happy to be corrected on this. 😊

    I was looking at the Orange Pippin site for compatible partners and although they sell Concorde it's not on the list of pollination partners.
    It maybe because Comice is a parent of Concorde.
