What's the strangest thing you've done to/put in your garden?

  I had some sticks (pruned branches), some paint and some varnish. So I have painted my sticks white and pink and blue and yellow, and put them in a hedge. My husband told the gardener that I am slightly crazy, to which the gardener replied 'Only slightly?'

  I used white lace curtains as shading over my greenhouse until they disintegrated last year. They lasted 4 years.
  Now I have an old duvet cover, split down 2 sides over the greenhouse as shading.
