Mini Munch leaf problem

Seeds sown a month ago and plants looking healthy apart from the edge of one large leaf, which has turned pale. What's caused it?  (The plants are living on  south-facing windowsill until I put them in my raised coldframe.) Im keeping the compost watered, but not soggy. Hardly any sun to speak of since they were planted. Any advice welcome. Thank you 😊

It may be that it's had a bit of a chill overnight being on a windowsill - they can get very chilly overnight. If you could move it from the windowsill overnight, that may help.
I don't think it's anything of concern really.

Be careful when you repot that the crown of the plant (where the stem meets the roots) are not buried. Cucumbers are prone to crown rot.
When I pot mine into the final 22L pot I ensure the crown is slightly raised above the compost.

  • Ah, ok. Thanks @Pete.8.  We do have very good double glazing, but I'll move the pots to the table for overnights.  Thanks for info re crown, too 😊

A little fertilizer may also help.
They're hungry plants and the compost will be getting low on nutrients by now.
I use ordinary Miracle-Grow soluble fertilizer for my cucumbers throughout the season.

It can also happen if the leaf may have touched the glass - cold after warm. If the leaf's damp, it exaggerates it too.
