Thank you for the message. The neighbours have a plum tree near by. I thought they might be from the plum but I haven’t seen any blossom form on these, so ruled it out.
Whatever it is,!it’s probably not mature enough to blossom.
I’m not totally convinced it’s a prunus, although I’m not ruling it out either. I’d like to see a side view so I can see the stem and how the leaves grow from it.

As per @Busy-Lizzie looks similar to a prunus. The original tree does not need to flower to produce suckers and the suckers can pop up some distance away from the parent.
