@emmalane99 our dog was never bothered with the stones, thankfully, but in your garden I’d probably keep the lawn, especially with the piggies! Gravel was just the right decision for us and for that particular garden
@Thistleandrose thank you, we didn’t raise it up, we took the rest of the garden down, the border and shed are the original height of the soil. The house builders dumped a load of clay soil in and there was a fair height difference between the garden and patio, and slope across the garden. We kept those bits the same height as I didn’t want to mess around with having to put something to retain the soil underneath the fence panels (neighbours gardens were higher than ours)
It might be nice to have a shady seating area down by the shed for those times when it's too hot in the sun. Possibly with a bed/border of shade-loving plants behind.
