ID please

This plant had lost its label and its pot was broken so I got it at a knockdown price. It has been suggested that it is Red Hot Poker. However, that isn't one of my favourite plants so I wouldn't have been looking at that variety. The plant was in the small pot section, along  with small multicoloured anemones.
The foliage is only about 4" high.
Not sure why the photos are sideways!

It's saying Tradescantia to me. Could very easily be wrong though. Mine aren't that advanced yet.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Tradescantia was my initial thought too so was pleased to see @JennyJ thought the same as she is good at ID"s and I'm hoping it means I'm improving 😊.
  • Thanks Jenny & Alfharris. I seem to remember seeing these at the garden centre the mystery plant came from 👍
