  • I've actually got some growth showing on a couple of mine. I feel rather chuffed.
But I am in the south-east.

Have a peep in and under the dead foliage and tip up
to inspect the roots - you should see signs of life. As others have said, worth hanging on another few weeks. Fingers crossed for you @fificlarke. Mine are alive but didn’t flower last year so my fingers are crossed for them this year, after some helpful advice on here.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

Mine are all growing. Mostly deciduous but one (Black Panther) is described as semi-evergreen.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • Mine (deciduous, potted) are a couple of years old. Last year I overwintered them in the garage and they did great - they were already well on their way by mid-March with lots of growth.

This year I felt brave/stupid and left them in the portable greenhouse with fleece over them. I think this may have been a mistake. Nothing so far. Nada. Zilch.

I'll give them longer though - keeping everything crossed...

The deciduous ones are happy overwintering in a garage something I have done before. But not last year.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
