Have a peep in and under the dead foliage and tip up to inspect the roots - you should see signs of life. As others have said, worth hanging on another few weeks. Fingers crossed for you @fificlarke. Mine are alive but didn’t flower last year so my fingers are crossed for them this year, after some helpful advice on here.
Mine (deciduous, potted) are a couple of years old. Last year I overwintered them in the garage and they did great - they were already well on their way by mid-March with lots of growth.
This year I felt brave/stupid and left them in the portable greenhouse with fleece over them. I think this may have been a mistake. Nothing so far. Nada. Zilch.
I'll give them longer though - keeping everything crossed...
