What's wrong with my honeysuckle?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could offer advice on what's wrong with my honeysuckle and what I should do to help it recover.
See pictures attached - it's flowering nicely but the leaves are going brown and curling.

Hello and welcome to the forum 😊
Whoever told you that was a honeysuckle was mistaken … it’s a Clematis ‘Armandii’.

    More info here

I suspect that the leaf spotting was caused by the alternating  very cold spells followed by mild weather that we had this last winter. I wouldn’t worry about it. The old leaves will be replaced before long. The bronze colour of the new leaves is normal.

That looks more like a clematis to me. Are you sure it’s honeysuckle? If so what’s the name?
Whereabouts are you? And what conditions are you growing it in? Sorry for all the questions but the more information members have the more they can help.

    Indeed - not honeysuckle.
I agree- it'll produce new foliage when conditions allow too - all evergreens shed old, dead, damaged leaves and then grow new ones  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Many thanks for the replies.
I'll take note of what it is.
I was tempted to cut out all affected areas but will leave it alone.
    Thanks again
