Identify species of tree - Tulip Tree

Hi there

I’m new to this forum and I’m hoping someone can help me to identify a tree in my garden. I believe it is a Tulip Tree, but I’m keen to try and identify the specific variety of Tulip Tree I might have, as they can grow ti various sizes. So I’m keen to know whether I have a taller or smaller variety. Googling this suggests there are several varieties I.E Chinese tulip tree, columnar, yellow and dwarf but I can’t find anything to tell the key differences.

Does anyone have any advice on how to tell the difference between varieties of Tulip Trees?

I’ve not seen it flower yet, but I’ve been told they are yellow flowers. Any help and advice would be very welcome.

We had one many years ago and it did flower. Our flowers were more cream than yellow. Unfortunately, as we so often did, we planted it in the wrong place and as the trunk got bigger and bigger it was threatening to demolish our garage. So it had to go. Really disappointing. Don't know which one it was but it grow very very large.
Your photo of the leaves does show it to be a tulip tree. Maybe take more photos including one that shows the height and visit a good nursery/garden centre and ask them for advice.
