It was at the end of my many hours in the garden, I was tired and yup I did cut corners lol.
Luckily they were surplus sprouting seeds I grow in jars for their sprouts. I am not too keen on the pink radish sprout as they are smelly, but I am ok with their leaves so decided to grow them outdoors.
The Fenugreek is from my spice cupboard which I also sprout, but with spring and summer on the horizon, I fancy growing them big enough for their leaves as they make curries amazing.
I was going to say the same thing @Lyn You'll either be sick to death of eating them @M33R4 [assuming you have room for them all!] or you'll have some serious thinning to do
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I really like fenugreek leaf (methi) in curries. Always use the dried stuff - never occurred to me try growing fresh from store cupboard seed. I will give it a try.
Back in the 70’s it was all the rage to grow sprouting seeds, always a windowsill full of glass jars, Fenugreek was one, also Mung beans. Can’t remember what else.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
