I am looking making a small pond by sinking either a cheap galvanised steel / zinc /tin bath / dolly tub in a raised bed. I don't understand - why would you want to drain it? If it has a bung, you'll have a job preventing water leaking out.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
