New arrival

Hello
This maybe an impossible task but the plants in the pictures I have attached are popping up everywhere over my garden and land.
I have no idea what they are and whether to nurture or annihilate.
Just wondered if someone can identify them.

Tree seedlings, possibly sycamore. Unless you have a forest to plant, you won't need that many! It seems there are a lot of them this year - several posts on here and I've seen loads popping up when I've been out walking recently.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Pull them all out and sow something out of a packet in the pots. No need to waste the compost😊
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Thank you.
We live next to a coppice so makes sense even though there are not many sycamore trees.

Trees pop up all over our land pretty quickly.
However it is the first time we have seen so many seedlings of this sort.
They are even growing in my neighbours chicken coop 😳
  • Maybe you could list them on Gumtree or something similar, just for free? Someone might want to grow some trees.
