Lily suggestions

Looking for recommendations of any hardy perennial lilies for a west facing border.
Is it too late for bulbs?.

Lilium candidum  and/or Lilium martagon , providing the soil is free draining.

If you’re quick you might just about be in time to plant the latter, although autumn would be better for both.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Almost any lilies will be fine there - Asiatic, Longiflorum, Oriental etc,  and you can sometimes pick them up cheaply at this time of year. I did exactly that when I moved in here - a few quid for some packs of white and dark reds [can't remember the names] and they've been great. I've got many clumps of them now, in various aspects - both potted and in the ground.
As long as they have decent drainage, they're excellent. Heavy wet ground is what most of them dislike.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
