It certainly looks like Crassula Ovata aka Jade Plant. Repotting couldn't hurt unless it's been done in the last year and it looks like it needs a visit from the tree surgeon but otherwise it's a good looking plant.
I've just pruned mine today actually. Any long thin branches have gone and anything drooping or showing air roots. It feels a bit brutal but the only way to keep the structure robust and get a nice think truck is to keep it pruned. Some people like the droopy look though so you don't have to follow my lead. I've found it better to get a good structure before allowing it to go wild though.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

It just doesn't need frequent repotting.  But your plant would look good in a bonsai pot.

I think wild. has the right idea, but "nice think truck" is a an ambiguous error.  For a bonsai,  thick would be preferred.  Yours is too advanced in its current shape to make a single trunk tree quickly.  Perhaps make it look like a group of 3 or 5 separate trees.

Do I see water in that saucer?   That would be a no, no.
