Are these 'true leaves' yet?

Hello Are these the true leaves of  V. Bonariensis and Cerinthe? Just wondering if ok to prick them out yet? Many thanks.

I think - 'yes' for the verbena (top pic) and 'No' for the cerinthe.

    I agree.
How can you lie there and think of England

According to Lord Monty of the Don, you can identify true leaves because they look the same as the leaves of a mature plant.  The first pic does show that development and the second doesn't.

According to me, you can identify true leaves as these are the 2nd ones to appear.  NO knowledge of the true leaves needed.

Of course that only applies to dicotyledons (spelling?).  Monocotyledons have only one seed leaf, the same shape leaf throughout its life.  Grass and lily family are monocots.
