musa basjoo browning and soft leaves

Hello!
I have two musa basjoo banana plants. Today is a lovely sunny day, about 17 degrees so decided its time for them to go outside.
I went for a hour walk and when I got home I was a bit shocked at how they looked! The leaves had gone soft and brown... they were strong and green a hour before. Any ideas what's gone so wrong so fast? To much water or to little?
First image is from early this morning when the top leaves are green and second is of the leaves now!
