Summer/autumn flowering evergreen shrub for shade?

I need an evergreen shrub which flowers in the summer and/or autumn and is happy in shade. It’s not deep shade, it’s just a corner that doesn’t get loads of direct sunlight. Soil stays relatively moist.

Ideally a height and spread of about 1m or happy with pruning.

It’s next to shrubs which flower in the winter and spring, hence why I’d like something that will flower in the summer/autumn.

Any ideas?

Sorry. I didn’t see the “summer” part of your post! 😂

You really need to get out  and look and ask about what you see.

Try "gardens open". NT, RHS, locals.
location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.

Soft Caress fits the bill, though it's possibly more of a shade area than part shade. Might still give it a try, though.

I'm in gardens all the time, and learning all the time, but there are a lot plants to learn about :)

No good looking at gardens this summer/autumn if you want the plant to be up and running this summer/autumn.

    Consider...

Hypericum moserianum ... it's evergreen, about 1 mtr, flowers from June to Oct, hardy, and does not mind where it grows..  compact and not invasive..

    ..September flowering..

...or Hypericum 'Magical Beauty', which has reddish/copper berries after flowering, which turn black in autumn..

..easy shrubs to brighten a dull area..

Thanks. I think it might be a bit low for the spot I have in mind, but I may well use it in another part of the garden :)
