Some kind of leaf spot on Leucothoe

I had this die back on leaves of some Leucothoe last year, I had to replace two of the bushes. I cut off anything that looked infected last autumn, and the original bushes seem to be recovering, but in the last week or so it has started reappearing, and one of the new bushes also has leaves dying back.

Does anyone have any idea what May be causing it?

@johnwalton84b4QMAi80 I always think they are difficult plants to keep looking good. You often see them suffering with various problems. They do need moist but well drained acidic soil.
If conditions are not right they become stressed and problems arise.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
