    I might give that a try, though I don't think they do ballerina shoes in size 13  :D

    Finally finished laying the last of the stepping stones, at least now I won't have to walk on the lawn in winter when it can get a bit muddy..




    Curious - what are those lovely purple flowering plants at this time of year please?
    I wish I could garden all year round!

    They are Honesty (Lunaria), I sowed them last year in the greenhouse and planted them out but they didn't flower as they are biannual. They emerged early this spring, shot up quickly and started flowering about mid April. I need to sow some more for flowers next year.

    This year's seeds should make next year's flowering plants (that's how they work for me anyway) and I always get the best plants from the ones that find their own way. You could sow some as insurance though.

    The Honesty has taken really well, I’ll keep growling it each year as I like to put mostly pollinating plants in this border…
