Can these plants both be Geranium Brookside?

  the second one looks more like the 'Brookside' I've grown. I doubt they are the same, even allowing for something in the soil causing the leaves to go yellow

  I think pic. 1 could be Ann Folkard.There are so hundreds so not absolutely sure.
   Well worth growing, slow from cuttings in my experience. 

  I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

  Was going to say... my Ann Folkard looks like pic 1 and my Brooksides like pic 2. I agree with the above.

  When I look at Ann Folkard online the flowers appear to be quite a vibrant purple. I'm sure my plant didn't look like that last year.
  
  On my plant the flowers were lighter and the foliage was extremely bright; almost like Spiraea Gold Mound. Sorry, I should have posted a photo of the plant last year.

  The one with the yellow foliage looks much more like my G. "Blue Sunrise" than my G. "Ann Folkard" which is more limey, less golden yellow and doesn't have the bronzy edging to the leaf.

  There is a variety called Blue Sunrise, but l couldn't say for sure that's what your plant is. There are so many hardy geraniums !

  Thank you for your responses. I can confirm it's Geranium Blue Sunrise. I returned to the nursery and Blue Sunrise is right next to Brookside. Last year I must have picked up the wrong plant by mistake. What a plonker!

  Blue Sunrise is a nice plant too! Worth keeping, even if you got another Brookside.
