Red Robin?

Hello,
I purchased this plant and thought that Red Robin should have a new deep red foliage, but my plants still keeps this unpleasant brownish colour as per attached picture. Does anyone know if I have a special type of Red Robin which will never have red foliage?

    It is the new leaves that are red. Your plant is only small at the moment but not that much room to grow.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
