Plant Fight

Dear Members.

Below is an image taken this week of a curious bush, looks like a Rhododendron, but is it not to early for Rhododendrons?

Any tips gratefully recieved.

Thank you

Go round Bodnant Garden and there are Rhododendrons in flower every month of the year.

When we lived in Nottingham years ago we came across Lea Valley Gardens near Matlock , Derbyshire .
Havn't been again for years since but at the time seemed well worth a visit .

If it looks like a rhododendron, it is a rhododendron.  There are varieties/species in flower in England from November to August (perhaps more).   Many are leaf and stem hardy, but I don't know of one that is flower hardy.
location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.
