Thanks for those photos. They've convince me to use them with the Imperata "Rubra. I think I was seeing and using them individually whereas from your photos they need to be in a larger group to have the effect I want
@Balgay.Hill Now that is a wonderful plant but I have found it difficult to grow. It must have moisture to do well. Lovely with Hydranga Paniculata en masse. Also smells good.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
For me Ophiopogon bulks up really easily. You can split it into little clumps, plant them spaced out and they'll be filling the space by the following year.
