Eggs?

I’m trying to identify these eggs found in the roots of a rose recently planted out from a pot.

    Those in your 2nd pic look like the Fertiliser capsules which are often to be found in bought plants.
    Squish one to make sure :)

    I don’t know what the white stuff is but the yellow eggs are probably snails. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    They look like osmocote, long acting fertiliser capsules.

    IT’s fertiliser not eggs .
