Should I apply fertiliser before laying fresh turf?

    Personally l would say no, l don't think it's necessary.  
    Other forum members might disagree though.

    Not necessary, unless the soil's in very poor condition, but even then, it isn't worthwhile as you can always feed later in the year. What it'll need more than anything is ample watering, unless you get regular and persistent rainfall for the next few months   :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
