Lovely @pr1970. They've just started flowering here in the last week or so. The native ones are a delight. You can tell the difference by the growth habit - flowers along one side of the, more drooping, stem, and creamy white pollen. The Spanish ones are more upright and have flowers all round the stem
I took some pix today which had a few in them - small bit of woodland, and I was really taking photos of the little celandines which have been looking particularly splendid this year. It's a shame that so many are being crowded out by the Spanish ones though.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
