    Glad it's not just me that has tried and failed to grow astrantia. I enjoyed that section but it's too dry for them here.

    I bought Astrantia major Roma last year. Watched GW, thought will the smell get mentioned (in the hope that the variety I bought is less strong in fragrance) heard description smells like cat pee! Immediately recalled my sister and I moving between varieties to get the least pungent 😂 one.
    So I'm looking forward to enjoying the flowers in my garden this year, as it holidayed at my friends most of last year, hoping the smell isn't too bad!
