These can't be Narcissus Replete??

msqingxiaomsqingxiao Posts: 482
Hi all, I ordered a pack of ten Narcissus Replete bulbs from JParkers last autumn as I particularly like the white pedals with pink centres (https://www.jparkers.co.uk/daffodil-replete-1000152c). However, when they recently started flowering they look like this:

Surely it can't be right??

If you send the photo to Parker’s they will refund your money.

Thanks Lyn. Yes I just contacted them on whatsapp and they responded pretty quickly and will refund me. Decent customer service. Though I'll now have to wait for another year to have those pretty Replete :(

I’ve never had a problem with Parker’s,  but I have found that somethings are not like they’ve advertised.
I ordered a mixed pack of geraniums years ago now,  but they turned out to be only 2 different types where the picture showed about 4 different ones.
As they are so cheap,  if you buy on offer,  I didn’t bother to complain, but I got a refund on a shrub that didn’t grow for me,  my fault,  I knew it probably wouldn’t suit my garden.

I've had refunds from Parkers when what they sent was not what I'd ordered, no problem (if slightly annoying to have got the wrong thing in the first place).
The "pink" centred daffodils are usually more of an orangey coral than a true pink so I hope you won't be disappointed when you do get the correct ones. I suspect the pics on the Peter Nyssen and Farmer Gracy websites are more realistic than the one on J.Parkers, so maybe check those out.

Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Thanks Jenny. They still look very lovely to me :)
