Shrub to identify

Please can someone identify this shrub, it looks like it's been in a huge pot for far too long!

    viburnum tinus?

    @JAYJARDIN Yes I think it has been in that pot too long. It is showing signs of stress.You could hard prune and repot but probably better in the ground. They can suffer from Viburnum Beetle which is not nice and get really big.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Oh dear poor plant. At least I now know it's a Virburnum Tinus! The previous house owner had it in that pot so we will remove it and plant it into the ground once the awful wind outside stops blowing a gale !

    @JAYJARDIN Interesting you should mention the wind. As it has been in a pot for so long it might be top heavy. I would cut it back by at least a half to give it a chance.

    I will take your advice for sure. Nothing here has been pruned by previous owners for many years so I have my work cut out !
