Caterpillars on carpet

Every morning I find these little caterpillars crawling on my carpet. I have two large house plants in the room and the room is on the ground floor with doors out to the garden. I’m not sure if they are coming in from the garden our from the house plants as I can’t find any evidence of them apart from their presence each morning on the carpet. It’s only in the one room. 
Can anyone identify them from the photo?

    Millipedes of some kind. They're garden friends so just release them outside.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Thank you. I’ve been putting them at the bottom of the garden, so will continue to set them free.
