Miniature lilac- please identify

To me this looks like a miniature lilac but a shrub not a tree, I'm sure someone will put me right on it ! Its flower buds look just like lilac but tiny. I don't think it has been pruned in years so I will get rid of all those dead bits as soon as it stops raining!

Possibly a dwarf Korean lilac. The leaves look different than the variety I have but I believe some have leaves like yours.

I used to grow Syringa Miss Kim another possible.

I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

This is my syringa palibin, but I’ve noticed the korean lilacs all look quite similar so probably would come down to the size!

Thanks everyone, looking at photos I think its Syringa Meyeri Palibin due to the shape of the leaves.
