Sick Bay Tree

Our poor bay tree has really suffered this winter. Is there anything we can do to help bring it back or is it beyond help?

It looks poorly now but I think that’s mainly foliage damage due to the erratic but sharp frosts we’ve had this winter.

I would just treat it as normal … no feeding for a while … I think it’ll shed those leaves and produce new ones. Then if some of the smaller twigs look dead they can be cut back.

When it has fresh new leaves I’d give it a few sprays with a solution of seaweed tonic. I find bays really like that.

    😊
