Prunus laurocerasus ....Common name Cherry laurel.
Normally indestructible and evergreen.
Maybe Honey fungus

Phytophthora is killing it.

The Laurel and the dead (sleeping) plant at the back are two different plants, or are those red seed pods on yet another different plant?
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

The red seed
pod plant is a different plant. The laurel had dead branches and others that are flourishing, so just trying to work out what's best to do. thanks
