    I think the machinery packs them by weight so you probably got six big fat ones (not that it's any consolation if you wanted more than six plants).

    At least it's a bit easier than trying to catch out a supplier of something like Carrot or similar seeds which often give the number  of seeds as several hundred  ;)

    Let's hope for you it's the 6 that germinate and the other missing 2 were the duds!!

    In the same boat @pansyface with courgettes and butternut......last year.  I haven't sown any of butternut yet.   I have sown 2 courgette seeds into the vegetable plot with a plastic bottle to protect.  We'll see.

    If you are ordering something like 100 seeds, then an approximate amount would be fair. When it is a number in the single figures, then you should receive the actual amount imo. I would be annoyed.
