Is this the best use of space?

I have a plot 4x5m behind my greenhouse. It's currently empty and I want to put in some compost bins and raised beds. Is this the best layout? The garden faces south east and has fences around three sides and the greenhouse and lawn behind it. I want to grow dahlias in one bed and gooseberry, rhubarb, strawberry, raspberry and maybe a few salads leaves in the other bed. Any suggestions welcome!  Thank you

I would look to put a bit more space in front of the compost bin. You want manoeuvrability when turning compost between one bin and another (not that I ever do) and moving barrow loads out of the bins. Experiment by cutting out the three shapes and positioning them on your plot plan, maybe spinning the raised beds through 90°. You say the beds are 1 metre wide. Should this be 1.2 m given they are 2.4 m long?

Positioning the right hand bed against the fence would enable you to have a wider space in front of the compost bins. You would still be able to reach across the bed so could work it from the front and sides.  It’s going to be shaded by the fence anyway, where it is.
