Chamaerops humilis

Hi, I’m guessing there is no hope for my poor Chamaerops? It has suffered with the cold this winter, and I’m debating whether to give up on it or leave it to see if there’s any hope?

It does look a bit grim but these are one of the hardiest palms for our climate.  The growing point still looks green, so I'd say there's hope!  Give it time to recover and make sure that the compost is moist but does not get waterlogged.  You could tidy it up by removing the browned fronds as they won't recover.  It may look a little sparse for a while but just be patient!  There's some useful information here: Chamaerops humilis - Big Plant Nursery
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.
