Viola lifespan
in Plants
Last Autumn I bought a tray of Viola's which have flowered very nicely throughout the winter months and I noticed how well the colour complimented other plants in our wall.
I know there are perennial Viola's out there but does anyone know if the ones that are sold as "bedding " plants behave as such by having an annual or short lived perennial lifespan?
Thank you.

You never seem to see the same ones again but it's interesting to know to save wasting time.
We've been surprised how well they self seed in the gravel where there must be so little for them to get the feet in.
Lovely plants. Cheerful.
