Propagating Pleasure

Now that many of us will have already started sowing our seeds for this years crop of fruit, veg and flowers,  isn't it so pleasing when after all the thumbing through the seed catalogues etc we finally see those vibrant green shoots poking through the compost? Every year I try something just that little bit different that I've not grown before and this year it's swedes, beetroot and carrots,  all in large pots as I prefer flowers and shrubs for the borders. What are you growing this year that you haven't grown before?

I’m growing chillis, I’ve grown them before but always later in the year and they never fruit in time before the cold autumn temperatures arrive. But this year I have a propagator so have been able to start them off earlier.
